In an edition of Kook Magazine there was a two-page article dedicated to our wine Klet Brda Sauvignon Blanc/Ribolla Gialla, Slovenia and Brda region.
The story of this blend goes back to 2015 when we first introduced it to the UK market. The success of the wine there spoke for itself and one of our German distributers wanted to introduce it to the German market as well. In 2018 we started bottling Casa Verde Sauvignon Blanc/ Ribolla Gialla which won a silver medal at this year’s Mundus Vini Spring Tasting. The quality of this blend which combines the aromatic global variety Sauvignon Blanc and the freshness of the local variety Rebula/Ribolla Gialla was recognised by Colruyt chain, a part of which is also Spar. Consequently, last year, our brand Klet Brda was made a part of their vast asortment which is a great success.
