On 9 to 13 September, Klet Brda hosted its American distributers, who helped with harvesting activities. They were brought to Slovenia by Klet Brda’s subsidiary, Laureate Imports Company.
When it comes to penetrating foreign markets, the harvest is an important marketing tool since it gives foreign wine sellers comprehensive, in-depth and direct experience of the terroir and its wines. The visit was also interesting given the high ratings awarded to Klet Brda’s wines by Wine Enthusiast, a renowned American magazine, in August this year. Klet Brda exports one million bottles of Slovenian wine to the United States every year through Laureate Imports Company.
