Klet Brda with the Krasno White label in Braille script proudly supports the project of the first tactile gallery in Slovenia

Past Friday, the first tactile gallery in Slovenia opened at the Mercator center in Kromberk with the exhibition Art Beyond the Visible, a result of the collaboration between the institutions Goriški muzej, KUD Artes, and the inter-municipal Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Nova Gorica, with significant contributions from the Academy of Arts at the University of Nova Gorica, the Faculty of Education at the University of Primorska, and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana. The project is part of the official program of the European Capital of Culture GO!2025.

Klet Brda has gladly supported the project of the tactile gallery, which allows everyone, including vulnerable groups, to not only see but also touch and feel all the artworks. At the grand opening of the exhibition Art Beyond the Visible, we toasted with Krasno White wine, which features a unique label printed in Braille script.

This is undoubtedly an important enhancement of the ongoing collaboration with the Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Nova Gorica. Our desire is to enable everyone, including the blind and visually impaired, to get a closer experience of the world of wine and discover all its specifics.
