New image for wine line Krasno

At this year’s St. Martin’s Day celebration, we premiered the new visual identity of the Krasno  wine line, which has been on the market since 2012. In our efforts to elevate the perception of the line, we created a new label that combines art, elegance, and a tribute to the village of Krasno.

The artistic aspect of the label was crafted by Nina Zuljan, a reowned painter from Slovenia, whose unique style captures the meeting point between reality and a dreamlike world. Her artistic interpretation emphasizes the natural beauty and uniqueness of the place where this premium wine is created. The remaining elements of the label were designed by Matjaž Bizjak – Matjash, who refined the overall look with a modern design approach.

The new Krasno label reflects an elegant aesthetic that highlights nature and the steep hills where selected vineyards thrive. The color palette, featuring gentle blue and green tones, evokes the landscape surrounded by untouched nature and underscores the wine’s freshness. The name “Krasno” takes center stage, standing out with a simple and clean font, reflecting the clarity and sophistication of the wine. The entire design of the label conveys a sense of pride in tradition, quality, and rich cultural heritage, reinforcing the consistency and authenticity of wines from this region.

At the top of the steep vineyards reigns the village of Krasno. It appears to have organically grown out of the hills. Here, nature and human craftsmanship intertwine in perfect harmony, in a place defined by peace and unspoiled beauty. Narrow terraces carved into the limestone provide an ideal habitat for grapevines. Their roots must delve deep into the soil in search of water and minerals. The Mediterranean sun imparts strength and character to the wines produced here, while the Alpine breezes preserve their freshness.
