“Selected” Programme
The “Selected” Programme has to do with the classification of vineyards into
classes. It has been introduced as there is an ongoing requirement for grapes
of a special quality and for blending grapes of an equal quality.
We have divided grapes into four quality classes. Each has its limitations and
requirements to be fulfilled, to wit, those relating to yield per hectare,
organoleptic properties of grapes, health status, IPG, method and time of harvesting…
On the basis of registered vineyards our experts visit them and propose an
appropriate solution in view of agro-ampelo technique. Monitoring and evaluating
of vineyards begins with the cutting and terminates with grape harvesting.
Further processes of vinification in the wine cellar transpire separately
and differ from the usual ones. Anyway, you are welcome to taste the results
of the “Selected” Programme: indulge yourself in a sip of A+, Bagueri, Quercus
and other brands.
At present one third of our members is included in the Programme: interest
in it has been increasing from year to year.
